the Club….
Our Moose Rider’s
Club first meeting was in July of 2007. We elected a set of officers and
turned in our signed set of “By-Laws” to our Lodge to be officially voted
in. We received our approval and were on our way in August. Our membership
quickly grew to almost 50 by the end of the year.
The Club’s first
official ride to place on September 9th and had 5 bike and 7
people.
In September the
Rider’s Club was asked to put together a benefit ride for a fellow biker
that needed our help. We took two weeks, planned the event and ride and had
it on October 7th. We had forty five bikes and rose over $1,400
dollars.
In November the
club was asked to help put together a benefit for the A/101 Aviation
Association Scholarship Trust Fund. The date was set for Saturday May 10th
2008. The Rider’s Club along with other members from the moose lodge and
the local Aviation Association’s member worked together and had a fantastic
fund raiser for the kids. At the end of the day’s event we wrote a check
for over $18,000.
The Rider’s Club
was put together to help out our friends, our community, help raise money
for various charities and have fun doing it.
We will be
planning and having fun rides and events throughout the upcoming year. If
